This evening, he will participate in an RGA business roundtable with Gov. Mitch Daniels and attend the Indiana GOP party’s spring dinner. Both events are being held in Carmel.

Before his arrival, Indiana gubernatorial candidate John Gregg (D) and Virginia Del. Charniele Herring held a press conference to question whether Rep. Mike Pence, the Republican running for governor, would support legislation calling for mandatory ultrasounds before abortions. McDonnell headlined a fundraiser for Pence last month.

Earlier in the day, McDonnell attended an RGA event in Washington. He will return to Virginia late Tuesday, according to his office.
