last month, will be in Philadelphia Monday and Tuesday for meetings of the organization.
The RGA and McDonnell’s staff did not say what kind of meetings or whether he will be raising money.
But McDonnell will return to Virginia Tuesday. The next day, he will headline a lunchtime fundraiser in Richmond alongside former RGA chairman and current Texas governor and presidential hopeful, Rick Perry.
The invitation asks for contributions of up to $10,000 for the Republican Party of Virginia, which is trying to take control of the state Senate in the November elections. More than 500 people already have bought tickets.
