Virginia, which has already been treated to more than its share of presidential campaign ads, has a couple of new ones on the air this week, one from President Obama, one from Mitt Romney.
Both ads cover already familiar territory.
Obama’s ad repeats claims that Romney helped send American jobs overseas. There is a new backdrop — Romney singing “America the Beautiful,”And the ad dips into the topic of his offshore bank accounts.
Romney’s spot repeats a message heard in earlier ads that Obama has abandoned his “Hope and Change” theme from four years ago to run a highly negative, misleading campaign.The ad, which you can see here, features snippets of television commentators bemoaning the tone of Obama’s campaign.
