Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will raise money for his campaign this week in Richmond.
Republicans Gov. Robert F. McDonnell and Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, chairman of Romney’s Virginia campaign, are expected to attend the evening fundraiser Thursday at the Marriott in downtown Richmond, according to their offices.
A message to Romney’s campaign was not returned Tuesday.
Romney was last in Virginia in October to rally Republican volunteers in Fairfax County before the November legislative elections. He was joined by Bolling and McDonnell, chairman of the Republican Governors Association, who has not endorsed anyone in the the presidential race.
Romney has been in Virginia several times this year for fundraiser in Northern Virginia and Virginia Beach.
