Will Gov. McDonnell be Mitt Romney’s runningmate? You decide.

Yes, there is a path for Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell if you think Romney should pick an “establishment figure” who is a governor of a battlegound state.

The description of McDonnell: “The popular governor of an important battleground , McDonnell's recent involvement in a national controversy about transvaginal ultrasounds has drawn some negative attention, but he remains a major player.”

Other possibilities include New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Florida governor Jeb Bush and Sen. Rob Portman (Ohio).
