The Penderyn Estate, a 22,500 square foot waterfront estate in Queenstown, Md., formerly owned by the son of Chef Boyardee, will be sold to the highest bidder on July 19 by DeCaro Luxury Real Estate Auctions. The current owner, Nextel Communications co-founder Morgan O’Brien, originally listed the property at 300 Wye Narrows Drive for sale at $29 million. The home, originally built for Mario Boiardi (Chef Boyardee’s son) is a Georgian-style brick mansion with 11 wood-burning fireplaces, eight bedrooms, nine full baths, three half-baths, Palladian windows, French doors and balconies. A marble foyer leads to a 60-foot long arched hallway that leads to the rest of the home.

The property sits on an 18-acre private peninsula on the Wye River and overlooks more than 2,000 feet of shoreline.
