The Wizards will welcome the 76ers to Verizon Center after suffering their most lopsided loss of the season, 120-89, the night before in Philadelphia. They have lost five games by at least 18 points this season.

After a team dinner to help with team unity, the Wizards forgot to act like a team, with Coach Flip Saunders and several players, including Rashard Lewis, complaining about selfish play. Philadelphia had 27 assists, shot 55.3 percent from the field and converted 66.7 percent of their three-point attempts. Jodie Meeks led the 76ers with six three-pointers. The Wizards season-high for three-pointers in a game is seven.

The Wizards are the sixth team in NBA history to start a season at 1-10. The last team to get off to a similar start was the 2008-09…Wizards. They will not have Andray Blatche, who will found out that he will need extensive rehab for his sprained right shoulder. He has missed the first two games and there is no timetable for his return.
