Comcast SportsNet to televise all 66 Wizards games

Comcast SportsNet just announced that it will televise all 66 regular-season games for the Washington Wizards, plus the two preseason games against Philadelphia on Dec. 16 and 20. Washingotn opens the regular season Dec. 26 against the New Jersey Nets.

Play-by-play announcer Steve Buckhantz and analyst Phil Chenier will be back for their 15th season together broadcasting Wizards games. Chris Miller returns as courtside reporter.

Fifty-seven games will air on CSN, and nine will be seen on CSN-Plus. The cable network’s news release says that all of the games will be “available in HD to all cable and satellite providers throughout the region.”

The NBA’s network television partners ABC, ESPN and TNT didn’t schedule the Wizards for any games this season. NBATV will have the Wizards on six times.
