Open thread: Game 4, Wizards vs. Celtics

John Wall’s body language and energy were a concern during the Wizards102-81 loss in Milwaukee. Wall had just six points on 1-for-9 shooting and Coach Flip Saunders expressed his disappointment after the game, and said that he has already challenged him to come out with more enthusiasm when the team hosts the Boston Celtics tonight.

“He needs to relax a little bit,” Saunders said. “He’s forcing some things. I told him, if he doesn’t play hard and he doesn’t have a smile on his face, I’m going to take him out. He’s got to put that passion, that smile back on his face.”

Saunders said he spoke with Roger Mason Jr. about the mistake that resulted in him being omitted from the roster in Milwaukee. The NBA blamed the problem on a “technical glitch” but the Saunders the team will have “move on.”
