Wizards at Trail Blazers: Game 29 discussion thread

After their dominant performance against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, the Wizards will try to win consecutive games for the first time since they defeated Utah and Charlotte on March 28 and April 3.

Portland is 15-13 but has the sixth-best road record in the NBA at 11-3. The Trail Blazers are 3-1 at home this season against Eastern Conference opponents. The Wizards have lost six straight at Rose Garden.

Since taking a new asthma medication, JaVale McGee has recorded back-to-back games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. McGee will start off with Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby, but Coach Randy Wittman said he would also get some time defending all-star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who is averaging 23.3 points this season. Jan Vesely, coming off a career-best performance against Detroit, will also be thrown at Aldridge.
