Wizards vs Heat: Game 66 discussion thread

The Wizards will look to close out their season on a six-game winning streak as they host the Miami Heat leftovers. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will all sit the season finale.

If they can defeat the skeleton crew Heat for the second time in a week, the Wizards (19-46) would become the first team in 31 years to finish the season on a six-game winning streak and miss the playoffs. The 1970-71 San Diego Rockets, led by former Bullets legend Elvin Hayes, were the last team to accomplish that feat.

John Wall has caught steam during the run, becoming the first Wizard since Rod Strickland to have 10 or more assists in four straight games. Strickland actually did that from March 24-30, 1999 – the last lockout-shortened season. Wall is also the fastest player to reach 2,200 points, 1,000 assists, 600 rebounds, 200 steals and 90 blocks. He needed just 134 games.
