Congress’ revolving door, in one graph

The Center for Responsive Politics and Remapping the Debate checks in on the 120 Congress members who lost their seats last year and finds that, among those working again, more than half have landed at lobbying firms. You can see where the rest ended up in the graph above. It’s notable, though, that ex-members of Congress have a pretty high unemployment rate, not represented in this chart: 41 former members are not currently working.
