What it’s like to ride an icebreaker around Antarctica

Here's a neat time-lapse video showing the Nathaniel B. Palmer, an icebreaker operated by the US National Science Foundation, as it putters around Antarctica's Ross Sea for 75 days. There's some serious ice-breaking at around 1:10 and also 3:30:
