The streets of Vancouver turned chaotic Wednesday as angry hockey fans began rioting after the Canucks’ 4-0 loss to the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals.
The crowd set cars ablaze, and looters busted storefront windows, according to the Associated Press.
Riot police were dispatched to quell the unrest, but as darkness fell, some of the bonfires were seen raging on.
A similar scene played out in Vancouver in 1994 after the Canucks lost Game 7 to the New York Rangers.
