Getting back into the swing of school is always tough as the pressure of keeping track of deadlines and assignments looms. HomeWork is a decent app that lets you keep track of all your assignments, practices and rehearsals. Organize assignments by color-coded subject to give you an easy at-a-glace way to manage your schedule. The app will let you check off when an assignment is done and give you a count of what’s still on your plate.
There are few drawbacks. HomeWork’s user interface is a little clunky, and scheduling regular appointments can require quite a bit of time at setup. And there are no notifications or options to sync with other calendars. If you’re looking for a replacement for your paper planner, then this app’s for you. But if you’re looking for Student Planner 2.0, then you may want to explore other options. Free, for Android.
