This iPad-only app organizes global market data in a visually stunning, easy-to-read format while also keeping a handle on the latest investor news. The app has a bit more flash than substance — it doesn’t offer a lot of in-depth information for free — but it’s a good aggregator of the public stock information that’s out there. For example, it provides a snapshot of big events coming up in the week to help investors plan their next moves. The app will also work with, but doesn’t require, subscriptions to the Thomson One service for deeper information on companies. Free, for iPad.
