Acquisitions

Fairfax-based hospitality management company Guest Services said it has acquired the Lodge and Spa at Breckenridge in Colorado. Terms were not disclosed.

McLean-based Gladstone Commercial said it has acquired a two-story, 115,200-square-foot office building in Allen, Tex., for $15.15 million.

Call for entries

The March of Dimes and the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association of Northern Virginia have extended the nomination deadline for their 13th annual Heroines in Technology awards to Aug. 1. For more information, visit http://bit.ly/1bsVoVT.

Contracts

District-based communications firm Qorvis said it has been hired by Landsdowne-based restaurant chain BGR The Burger Joint to provide media outreach, research, messaging, special events and promotions.

Reston-based contractor Maximus said it has signed a contract with the District of Columbia Health Benefit Exchange to operate the D.C. Health Link Contact Center. The contract has four consecutive one-year options for a total contract value of up to $25 million.

Expansions

District-based daily deals company LivingSocial said it plans to add 50 customer service jobs at its call center in Tucson, Ariz.

Bethesda-based health care company Chindex International said it has opened a clinic in Shanghai.

Moves

Germantown-based Clongen Laboratories said it is moving on Aug. 10 to 211 Perry Pkwy., Suite 6, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
