What to Watch: Week of Dec. 16

The Northern Virginia Technology Council plays host to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Tuesday as part of its Titans Breakfast Series.

Ginsburg will participate in a “fireside chat” with former U.S. Solicitor General Ted Olson.

The event begins at 7 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Reston, 1800 Presidents St., Reston. $75 for members, $95 for everyone else.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

The Loudoun Small Business Development Center’s Federal Contracting Conference’s keynote speaker will be Natalia Olson-Urtecho of the SBA. The daylong event begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Virginia Science & Technology Campus, 20101 Academic Way, Ashburn.

Leadership Arlington plays host to Lori Ermi of the Ermi Group, who will talk about “Making It Work: Four Generations in the Workforce.” The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at WETA, 2775 S. Quincy St., Arlington. $40 for members, $50 for everyone else.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

The Public Relations Society of America-National Capital Chapter is hosting a panel discussion on “Is It Legal? How Communicators and Lawyers Can Work Together to Achieve Mutual Goals.” Panelists include Paul Ferrillo of Weil Gotshal & Manges, Tara Lee of DLA Piper, Reid H. Weingarten of Steptoe & Johnson, Tammy Gordon of AARP and Leslie Aun of Venture Philanthropy Partners. The event begins at 8 a.m. at the U.S. Navy Memorial & Heritage Center, 701 Pennsylvania Ave. NW. $35 for members, $55 for everyone else.

The Maryland Women’s Business Center is holding a workshop on “Writing a Successful Business Plan.” The event begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Rockville Economic Development Inc. office, 95 Monroe St., Rockville. $25.
