Does it pay to know your type?

Corporate America, the government and universities think so. They spend millions of dollars each year giving workers and students the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test to steer training programs and career goals. In the graphic below, we walk through the 16 types to give a sense of how these bigger-than-life personalities fit in the Myers-Briggs philosophy. The official test is based on Carl Jung’s work in psychological typology. Ryan Smith and Eva Gregersen, creators of celebritytypes.com, helped us take the extra step of historical-figure associations.
