Apple unveils iBooks2, iBooks Author and iTunes U

A look at the new education-oriented apps.

Apple's new digital textbook service, iBooks 2, debuted Jan. 19 at an event at New York's Guggenheim Museum. Apple has been working on digital textbooks with publishers Pearson PLC, McGraw-Hill and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a trio responsible for 90 percent of textbooks sold in the United States.
