Apple’s new iPad vs. other tablets in the market

Now that the new iPad is here, it’s much easier to compare its specifications against a host of competitors.

Kindle Fire

Although Apple lowered the price of the iPad 2 to a $399 price point, Amazon's seven-inch tablet still has a price advantage over the iPad, starting at $199. The Kindle Fire also has access to Amazon’s huge retail store.
