Internet companies such as Groupon and Zynga have had successful initial public offerings while others like Facebook and Living Social are lining up to go public.
Online radio streaming service Pandora saw its shares jump 9 percent during their first day of trading in June 2011 on the New York Stock Exchange, becoming the latest online stock to enjoy a strong public offering and fueling fears of another dot-com bubble.
