Europe sees economic contraction, but U.S. still shows growth

The euro area registed a 0.2 percent loss in gross domestic product over the past three months. The area’s strongest economy, Germany, showed another quarter of growth. The United States posted a fifth consecutive quarter of growth. Read related article.
