Expanded coverage for uninsured
The Affordable Care Act expands Medicaid to cover all non-elderly adults earning less than 133 percent of the poverty line, with the federal government picking up most of the tab. As it turns out, this is going to mean a lot more money to help red states than blue states. Read related article.
