Competition is as fierce as ever among fast and fast-casual restaurants looking to take a bigger bite of the market. Here are some recent moves these companies have made in an effort to lure more customers and pad their profits.
On Jan. 24, 2012, Starbucks announced it was adding beer, wine and savory snacks to its menu at some locations in Southern California and Georgia. Such items are already available at a handful of stores in Seattle and Portland.
