U.S. mergers and acquisitions

Mergers and acquisitions have picked up the pace in 2013, with larger deals, such as the acquisition of Abbvie for $64 billion, the second largest transaction since 2009. Adding value in 2013 are dueling bids in the $20 milion range for Dell and Berkshire Hathaway's $27.5 billion deal for HJ Heinz. Read related article.
