Wal-Mart Canada

Wal-Mart came to Canada in 1994. As of April 30, the retailer has 325 stores there, which include Supercenters and the traditional discount store.

Wal-Mart bought the U.K.'s Asda in 1999. Since then, Asda has become the country's "second largest supermarket," according to Wal-Mart. As of April 30, the company has 386 stores there, which include Asda Living and Asda Supercenter.
