Another way to share photos instantly
Facebook has released a competitor to Instagram — you know, the company that it bought for $1 billion? — that allows users to add filters to their smartphone snaps. The app is also a great Facebook picture viewer, similar to Pixable, that organizes the photos in your news feed. Users can scroll down the feed to see pictures from different friends and scroll sideways to see multiple pictures in a given album. Facebook Camera’s filters aren’t as great as those on Instagram, and users can only post pictures to Facebook from the in-house app. Plus, there’s no Android version, so Google fans are out of luck. That said, if you’re a Facebook photo nut, this app is a good tool to add some flair to your quick pics. Free, for iOS devices.
