Shooting for the moon
This is a little game that will look familiar to anyone who’s played Tiny Wings, but Moon Chaser is the rare example of an app that takes a derivative idea and adds enough of its own splash to make it fun. In Moon Chaser, you’re a ninja running along the mountaintops, trying to run as far as you can before the moon goes into a lunar eclipse. The game-play itself follows the same principle as many other touch-screen games: You tap to sprint along the ground and gain momentum, then release to fly over the landscape. With its charming graphics, sound effects and music, Moon Chaser makes this so-so game a treat to play and certainly worth pulling out when you have some time to kill. Free, for Android.
