Nevada's economy still struggles to recover
Before the housing bubble burst and the recession, Nevada had a booming economy with an unemployment rate under 5 percent. Today, that rate has soared to nearly 12 percent. Of existing homes sold in Las Vegas, the majority are distressed homes.
