Conquering iPad, Android devices
Conquering iPad, Android devices
Pinterest, that digital pin board social network that is oh-so-very addictive, is expanding its app empire to include the iPad and Android devices. The app is a strong offering for the site’s first crack at the bigger screen size, with a very intuitive layout and a beautiful display. There are some spots that could use work, however. The in-app Web browser is suppoesed to make pinning from sites you visit a breeze, but runs into the occasional bug. The app also limits what you can edit on the go, meaning that you’ll still have to go to the Web version to change your pins or your profile info. That said, it gets high marks for allowing users to clear browser data and for giving them the option to connect via Facebook, Twitter and e-mail. Free, for iOS and Android devices.
