Picky about restaurants? The search app Alfred listens.

The restaurant-search app Alfred calls itself a “Pandora for the real world.” What does that mean? Users can input their preferences for restaurants and bars, and Alfred will spit back suggestions based on them. The app also lists the reasons behind its recommendations — “good service” or “great pizza” — and takes time of day and location into account when it suggests a good place to hang out. The free app is great for finding hidden gems in your neighborhood and is a slightly more tailored alternative to such such as Urbanspoon. Free, for iOS.
