TechBit: Kicksend

Print those pics

Chances are, with the camera now on your cellphone, you may be taking more pictures, or at least pictures in more places, than ever. But are you still getting them printed? Or are they languishing on digital storage somewhere? Kicksend is aiming to get those photos off your phone and into albums or frames through partnerships with drugstores such as CVS or Walgreens to have your photos printed and available for pickup. Users can also ask Kicksend to print and send the photos to their homes. The process is fairly easy, so those who take to it will see their albums fill up fast.

The app also lets you send pictures digitally, of course, either by having you type in the address you want or by accessing your address book — with permission. Free to download for iOS and Android devices; print prices vary.
