Apple released an update to its mobile operating system Thursday, aiming to fix several bugs.
It’s common for the company to release updates after a new operating system launches to smooth out some of the software’s rough edges. According to Apple, the latest version of iOS 6 will fix problems that caused horizontal lines to appear on Apple device keyboards, prevented the iPhone 5 from installing over-the-air updates and prevented the camera flash from going off.
The best part of the new search is its awareness of context. Once you start a search, you can continue to have a conversation with Google to refine it.
For those who sign up, Twitter will send a six-digit code using a text message each time they sign in.
The update also fixes problems the iPhone was having connecting to cellular and wireless networks and bugs that affected setting meetings over Exchange accounts and and allowed Apple’s new Passbook app to bypass the lock screen.
Apple’s iOS 6 came out in September, with new applications, including Passbook — meant to help users organize electronic coupons, tickets and passes — and the infamous Apple Maps.
