Black Friday 2011: Best Buy promotes early sales

By ,

Black Friday is creeping up earlier and earlier, and Best Buy is moving ahead with its usual “Shop Early, Save Big” sales that the company says are meant to stem the rush on the mega-shopping day that follows Thanksgiving.

The electronics retailer will offer electronics bundles this weekend in-store and online. The sale will start Friday and run through Saturday.

Those eyeing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 but hate the peck-typing you have to do on tablets can get a free keyboard dock — an $80 value. The company is also throwing in a free Samsung Blu-Ray Player if you buy the Samsung Epic 4G Touch smartphone, Sprint’s version of the much-hyped Galaxy S II.

Other offers will start Sunday and run through Thanksgiving Day. Those looking for deals on televisions will be happy to hear that Best Buy is offering $300 off on an LG 47-inch LED HDTV at $700. And if that’s not quite big enough for you, take a look at the $2,000 70-inch LED Smart HDTV from Sharp — an $800 discount.
