Goodbye RIM, hello BlackBerry

BlackBerry maker Research in Motion unveiled its makeover to the world on Jan. 30. The company announced that it has changed its name to BlackBerry after its iconic phone as it took off the wraps of its new devices and operating system.

RIM, which announced that it has changed its name to BlackBerry, is hoping to make a comeback with the release of its long overdue BlackBerry 10 operating system that many analysts believe is the company's last chance to become relevant again. The company also changed its stock ticker symbol to BBRY.
