2014 Chevrolet Camaro Refresh Coming To New York Auto Show

The lights on the Geneva Motor Show floor have barely cooled, and already we're on to the next one: the New York Auto Show. One of the most most potentially interesting not-completely-new cars there will be the refreshed 2014 Camaro, confirmed today.

According to the New York International Auto Show's latest newsletter, the new Camaro "advances he design and performance attributes that have made it the most popular sports car under $50,000 for three consecutive years."

What exactly that might entail isn't at all clear, but aesthetic updates are almost certain, and other potential upgrade areas for the 2014 Camaro include the suspension and wheel/tire packages. We aren't expecting any more power from the V-6, V-8, or supercharged ZL1. On the other hand, a document that surfaced (and quickly disappeared) late last year indicated the Camaro could be getting twin-turbo V-6 and LS7 engine options for 2014.

Interior upgrades are also likely, as Chevy seeks to extend the Camaro's attractiveness to buyers as it reaches the middle of its model cycle.
