Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco Wins 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray

With General Motors choosing not to advertise at the Super Bowl this year, there were many, including us, still expecting its star car, the Corvette, to appear somewhere.

Many sports fans may have overlooked the Corvette that appeared on the field at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, despite its bright red finish, though no doubt it caught the eye of numerous sports car fans, including those at the game as well as those watching at home.

Flacco will have to wait a few more months until he can hop behind the wheel of the 2014 Corvette Stingray he just won as the car hasn’t entered production yet (GM used a pre-production unit). Production at the Corvette’s Bowling Green plant in Kentucky is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of the year.

Note, last year’s MVP, Eli Manning, also took home a Corvette for his efforts during the Big Game.
