Christina Barron is editor of KidsPost, a five-day section of The Washington Post written for ages 7 to 13. She started at The Post in 2001 as a copy editor on the National Copy Desk. After seven years of editing stories about terrorism, politics, hurricanes and more politics, she landed on the Features Copy Desk, where she worked on Weekend, KidsPost, Health, Food, Local Living and the Magazine. She moved to the KidsPost for a reporting position in 2012 and became editor in 2013. She lives in Northern Virginia and has her own 9-to-12-year-old focus group.
