The Washington Post Magazine’s 2012 Fall Dining Guide features food critic Tom Sietsema’s 40 favorite places to dine in the Washington region. “Readers often ask me what my favorite restaurant is, so I’ve used this fall’s dining guide as an opportunity to share my personal list of 40 places I’m fond of,” said Sietsema.
The guide features a mixture of old favorites and newcomers. The Inn at Little Washington, Rasika Penn Quarter, CityZen and Komi all return and maintain their four-star status. Several restaurants in their first year of operation also made it onto the list. Standouts include Little Serow, which garnered 3.5 stars, and Mintwood Place, Rasika West End and Rogue 24, which all earned three stars. Jaleo and Woodberry Kitchen also appear in the guide, rising to 3.5 stars.
