Capital Insight, the independent polling operation of Washington Post Media, today launched the “Poll Watch” app for iPhone and Android. The new app offers the latest polls, polling industry news, graphics and videos, along with social media updates from polling experts and analysts.
“Poll Watch is ideal for journalists and anyone who wants to stay on top of public opinion research. No matter where you are, you can understand where the country stands on the latest issues,” said Jon Cohen, general manager and polling director of Capital Insight.
Poll Watch launches just in time for pollsters to follow the conference of American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) May 16-19 in Boston. App users will be able to follow many the conference’s presentations, discussions, and graphics, as the nation’s leading public pollsters share their experiences. AAPOR-related Tweets and Instagram photos will also be readily available from Poll Watch.
Poll Watch is available as a free download from the App Store or Google Play. It was developed by WaPo Labs, a division of The Washington Post Company focused on digital innovation.
