Dad’s in debt; should the adult kids know?

From a concerned sister/aunt: “My brother has been paying off his children’s school loans for many years. It’s a struggle for him because he can’t get a steady job. Well his kids have successful jobs and marriages but don’t know about the loans. Would it be proper for me to tell them?”
