A fire brigade official said the blaze, in a building that housed three separate factories, was almost under control. The fire erupted two days after the country’s worst-ever garment-factory accident, in which at least 112 workers perished in blaze at an apparel plant outside Dhaka. Monday’s fire caused widespread damage at the plant on the outskirts of the capital, Dhaka, but no deaths were reported.
