How to ask, ‘Why didn’t you invite me to your wedding?’
“A long-time friend of mine got married recently and invited everyone in our circle of friends (including newcomers and casual friendships) except me. The only thing I can think of is that they invited my ex (although we were always civil at mutual gatherings after the breakup) or that they DID invite me and I never received it. What’s the best thing to do? Let it go? Ask them? Give them a card anyway? We still hang out at group gatherings but haven’t talked about this.
