JAY APOLOGIZES PROFUSELY.

I am so glad you made it to the new address of Admissions 101, and so sorry we left the impression it had been killed without warning. Change is rapid and often bewildering in journalism these days. We have put many of washingtonpost.com’s blogs and other features on a new operating system, from Italy of all places. It is called Methode (rhymes with toad). It does many wonderful things, but required us to change some of the addresses, including that of Admissions 101.

We are in the process of reconstructing some of the topic strings that have developed a following, particularly the AP vs IB string that I think recently had its fifth birthday. I am posting a new AP vs IB topic below so we can get back to that vital battleground right away. Direct all complaints to me at mathewsj@washpost.com. We will get through this and the group will be better for it, I promise.
