Selective colleges should standardize admission practices, policies, due dates and financial aid award letters.

This is the last in our series of suggestions made in a recent USC report (PDF) on admissions reforms. This one may be illegal, since standardizing financial aid awards is anti-competitive and can get you in trouble with the feds. I imagine this also means deciding if all colleges should do early decision or not. There may be other diverse rules that annoy people. Does this make sense to you, and if so, why?
