When is Jay going to stop whining about discrimination against IB students?
.Here I am again, slapping around great colleges and universities for not giving the same credit to good scores on one-year IB course exams as they give to good scores on one-year AP course exams. Here is the link to my new column on this, which for the first time has data on the extent of the problem. In one Washington area high school, 283 AP tests last year were taken by IB students forced to spend that extra $87 because the colleges would not give credit for their IB exams. I think it is the strongest argument yet in favor of college pulling their heads out of wherever they stuck them and fixing this. Here is my piece
