Post staff writer Dan Morse covers courts and crime in Montgomery County, Md. He recently returned from Iraq after serving a temporary stint as the Post’s Baghdad correspondent. Dan arrived at the paper in 2005, after reporting stops at the Wall Street Journal, Baltimore Sun and Montgomery (Ala.) Advertiser, where he was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. He grew up in Urbana, Ill., earned a civil engineering degree from Vanderbilt and is married to Post staff writer Dana Hedgpeth.
