Delece Smith-Barrow is an online editor and producer at The Washington Post with a focus on news for and about African Americans. She came to The Post in 2006 as an intern while attending the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland College Park. She’s worked on everything from the swine flu outbreak to pop culture pieces on Heidi Montag’s (short-lived) music career. Before coming to The Post, Delece interned at Washingtonian magazine and NEA Today. A native Washingtonian, she lives in Northeast.
