10:00-10:45 Laura Amy Schlitz won the Newbery Medal in 2008 for “Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! Voices from a Medieval Village.” A librarian who lives in Baltimore, Schlitz is also a professional storyteller. Her other books include “The Bearskinner: A Tale of the Brothers Grimm” and “The Hero Schliemann: The Dreamer Who Dug for Troy.” She has just published “Splendors and Glooms.” Signing at 11:30.
10:55-11:4 0 Peter Brown’s picture books include “Flight of the Dodo” and “The Curious Garden.” Most recently he illustrated “Creepy Carrots.”Signing at noon.
11:50-12:35 James Dashner is the author of the “Maze Runner” series and “The 13th Reality” series. His new book is “A Mutiny in Time,” the first in the “Infinity Ring” series. Signing at 1.
12:45-1:30 Jewel Kilcher, who writes and sings under her first name alone, has sold more than 27 million records. Her new book, “That’s What I’d Do,” was written as a lullaby for her newborn son. She is also the author of a book of poetry, “A Night Without Armor.” Signing at 2.
1:40-2:25 Mary Pope Osborne , who has written more than 100 books, is the author of the “Magic Tree House” series, including number 48, “A Perfect Time for Pandas.” She co-writes the companion series, “Magic Tree House Fact Tracker,” with her sister, Natalie Pope Boyce, who is also the author of more than 50 children’s books. Signing at 3.
2:35-3:20 Jerry Spinelli Twenty years ago, Jerry Spinelli wrote “Space Station Seventh Grade” for an adult audience, but it ended up being his first book for children. “Maniac Magee,” “Wringer” and “Stargirl” are among his best-known works. Chris Raschka won this year’s Caldecott Medal for his
picture book “A Ball for Daisy.” He also won a Caldecott in 2006 for

4:25-5:10 Anna Dewdney ’s books for children include the “Llama Llama” series. Its newest title is “Llama Llama Time to Share.” Signing at 2:30.

Noon-12:45 Bob Balaban is a writer, stage and screen actor, director and producer; he has appeared in dozens of movies, including “Midnight Cowboy,” “Catch-22” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” His book about the making of “Close Encounters” is “Spielberg, Truffaut & Me: An Actor’s Diary.” He also produced the Robert Altman film “Gosford Park” in 2001. His children’s books include the “McGrowl” series. His new book is “The Creature from the Seventh Grade: Boy or Beast.” Signing at 1.
12:55-1:40 Patricia Polacco did not start writing and illustrating children’s books until she was 41, but she has published dozens, including “Thank You, Mr. Falker” and “The Keeping Quilt.” She has just released “The Art of Miss Chew.” Signing at 2.
1:50-2:35 Michael Grant Most of the 150 books that Michael Grant has written have been with his wife, Katherine Applegate. They include the “Gone” series, about a society from which all the adults have disappeared. Their most recent book is “Eve and Adam.” Signing at 3.
2:45-3:30 Philip C. Stead wrote and Erin E. Stead illustrated “A Sick Day for Amos McGee,” which won the Caldecott Medal in 2010. Philip, also an artist, has written and illustrated several of his own books, including “Jonathan and the Big Blue Boat.” The couple have just published “Bear Has a Story to Tell.” Signing at 4.
3:40-4:25 David Ezra Stein’s “Interrupting Chicken” won a Caldecott Honor in 2011. Stein’s latest creation is “Because Amelia Smiled.” Signing at 2.
4:35-5:20 Avi has written more than 70 books, including the Newbery Medal-winning “Crispin: The Cross of Lead.” He has also received Newbery Honors for “The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle” and “Nothing but the Truth.” Avi’s latest book is “Sophia’s War: A Tale of the Revolution.” Signing at 3.
